Jessica dos Santos,DVM

Dr. dos Santos is a small animal veterinarian with an adventurous spirit and a deep love for animals and the environment. Growing up along the beautiful coastlines of Rhode Island, she spent her childhood immersed in nature, which ignited her lifelong passion for wildlife and conservation.

Dr. dos Santos pursued her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Conservation Biology at the University of Rhode Island. Her dedication to animal care has taken her on incredible journeys, volunteering at veterinary clinics and wildlife preserves in various parts of Africa, where she has had the privilege of working with some of the most fascinating species on the planet.

Before becoming a veterinarian, she honed her skills as a veterinary technician for many years, gaining hands-on experience that shaped her approach to animal care. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Colorado State University.

Dr. dos Santos' professional interests are diverse and include conservation, One Health, dentistry, and clinical pathology. When she’s not in the clinic, she embraces the vibrant outdoor lifestyle of San Diego. Whether tending to her garden, catching waves while surfing, tackling trails on her mountain bike, or gliding on roller skates, she’s always seeking new adventures. She also loves spending time with her two spirited dogs, Bronco and Honeybee, and training her horse, Bally.

Dr. dos Santos is excited to connect with fellow animal enthusiasts and make a meaningful impact on the lives of furry friends.
